This is a TWO Hook Lock kit that is compatible with common TWO rotating hook sliding door handle locks. If you open your sliding door, then look at the side of the door handle there is likely a little chrome pin somewhere sticking out the side of the handle, push and HOLD this in with your finger and then the lever action will release the hooks from the SIDE of the handle. You will also be able to see the two hooks inside slots in the side of the door handle. 

This lock kit is designed to mount on to your existing silver rails already fitted to your PatioLock model Modern Pet Door (the kit does not come with the slide rails from the original purchase as you should already have these mounted on your pet door).
